  • Purchase SSL certificate
  • Set up SSL certificate
  • Verify quality of SSL set up with SSL Labs
  • Verify that https://widget.mcf.li works as expected
  • Update documentation to reflect move to https
  • Update documentation to encourage https

Decided not to force https, will revisit decision in future. For now it's optional, but encouraged. Anyone who has a need for http can comment here (added a link to the docs) and if in future I revisit the forced https decision I'll take these comments into account.
