Background

Citrus version: 2.7.1

Problem

When using the SoapJmsMessageConverter for SOAP over JMS use cases the converter does not construct a SOAP header. See documentation for JMS.

Solution

Implement SOAP header handling in SoapJmsMessageConverter.

Example

Note: the resulting empty SOAP Header <SOAP-ENV:Header/>

JMS Send Action

<send endpoint="jmsEndpoint">
    <message>
        <payload>
            <SomeRequest>
                ...
            </SomeRequest>
        </payload>
    </message>

        <data>

            <SomeHeader>
                ...
            </SomeHeader>

        </data>

</send>

Constructed SOAP Envelope

<SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
    <SOAP-ENV:Header/>
    <SOAP-ENV:Body>
        <SomeRequest>
            ...
        </SomeRequest>
    </SOAP-ENV:Body>
</SOAP-ENV:Envelope>
