We need an integration with the upcoming Easy Image service.
This will result with a new plugin handling images. The plugin name should be easyimage.
There are several goals:
- Responsive output.
- Great d&d integration.
- Great clipboard integration.
- Balloon Toolbar integration.
- Easy integration with upload backend.
This plugin is not meant to be compatible with image nor image2, instead it will be a very simple, minimalistic replacement for these.
Preview
Users interested in seeing how the feature looks today can preview it on our Easy Image feature branch preview.

This plugin will only be supported for:
- Latest Chrome
- Latest Firefox
- Latest Edge
- Latest Safari
- IE11
Plugin Compatibility
Plugin will not be compatible with Image nor Enhanced Image plugin.
