What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Configure squid with authentication
2. Configure proxy autodiscovery in the network
3. Let clementine to use system proxy settings
4. Configure last.fm account in clementine

Clementine tries to log into last.fm to post scrobbled tracks, but since proxy requires authentication, it fails. Contrary to expected behavior, clementine does not bails out, but keeps bombarding proxy with requests.
The result - squid uses up all available memory and swap, and stops responding.

Clementine version used:
Clementine 0.7.1 on Windows 7

Squid Cache version used:
Suiqd 3.1.9 on Gentoo Linux

That's strange, there should be a timeout between requests. Does it behave so also when setting manually proxy settings in Clementine? Could you also try one of the latest builds on Windows since there are improvements on offline scrobbling?
