Several glitches can be encountered in the new Rasterize tool:

  • the hillshade layer can't be exported to an image or a raster file
  • if the input cloud has a SF named 'hillshade', this SF won't appear in the active layer list
  • the RGB layer can't be exported to an image?!

Hi, with the 2.8 beta the rgb layer can exported but the SF's field as the active layer no.

On this image you can see the rasters exported (dir. Z) as seen on QGIS 2.12, the exported pcv raster doesn't respect the bounding box/orientation while the previewed raster in CC is fine. The same problem happens when you use another axe (image)

Are these still issues? If so, maybe split this one into 3 issues so they can be addressed separately?
