@saumyasaumya

where is the build.xml file?

$ ant -f build.xml
Buildfile: build.xml does not exist!
Build failed

@Lab41PaulM

try "mvn package". I recently added an update to support Maven.

@saumyasaumya

i did..build was successful..but still the same error

@Lab41PaulM
<repositories>

     <id>DataNucleus_Repos2</id>
     <name>DataNucleus Repository</name>
     <url>http://www.datanucleus.org/downloads/maven2</url>
     </repository>
</repositories>

Add the above to your pom. This should do the trick. Let me know if it doesn't work, otherwise I will issue a pull request

@saumyasaumya

this also isn't working...still no build file

@saumyasaumya

can I skip all this and work directly on eclipse by importing the libraries? If so , how? Is there any documentation for the libraries?

@Lab41PaulM

Okay, I just added a pull request that will hopefully fix the issue. What version of Maven are you using? "mvn -version"? Can you try the version of code that I just added for the pull request?

@saumyasaumya

I am using maven 3.0.5 and java 1.7.. I added the updates to pom. The build.xml file is still not there.

@Lab41PaulM

The build.xml file will not be there as the build is currently using Maven. "mvn package" should do the equivalent of say "ant" with a build.xml file. I ran the "mvn package" command on a clean Ubuntu image and it worked. In the worse case, I would just go back to the previous revision of the code which uses Ant with the build.xml. Can you copy and paste the error your are still getting with "mvn package"?
