Customers declare name→host mappings in the initializer:
c.extra_vendors = { "my-api" => "api.myservice.com" }
The gem merges these into VendorRegistry at boot so tracking starts
immediately — no dashboard visit required. Mappings are sent with every
event batch so the collector can persist them and serve them back via
the registry, syncing to the dashboard automatically.
