Colecovision & E-book Reader

First of all thanks for the great Quark OS and the continued work and improvement on it! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Coming from version 1.5.0. and now on 1.6.0. I have an ongoing issue with Colecovision. I'm using the same zipped roms (original .bin and .col files) and bios I use on various other handhelds. But if I try to open a game it returns to the Colecovision game selection screen. Can't figure out why that is. No problems with other systems.

And if possible an e-book reader app (for .epub and/or .txt files) would be a great addition.

Have you added the Machines and Databases folders from blueMSX to the BIOS folder?

Turns out it seems to not work with zipped roms (only uncompressed ones...wonder why that is)

For now you'll want to unzip your roms in the COLECO directory...I'll have to look into this

And as for the epub reader I've been looking into Pixel Reader, looks good just need to change the resolution down to 320x240 and everything (not tested yet)

Thanks for your quick help. Unzipping did work. Now I can play my favoutite version of H.E.R.O.. on the Trimui Smart. 🙂

Great news regarding Puxel Reader, too. Thanks for looking into it. Pixel Reader would add another option on top of all the great stuff we already have for killing a few minutes on the go.

Managed to crank out a working build of Pixel Reader just now! Only little problem is it doesn't seem to want to load JPEG images, I'm guessing only because the Smart's SDL_image library wasn't built with JPEG support

Either way I'll include it in v1.7.0, not sure whether to have it as an app or a "system"

(had to compile libxml2 and libzip from source using Shaun's toolchain for this 😅)
