    Moved implementation to a .m file.
    Performance is not really affected by this change, and it makes the code
    more mantainable and compatible with externals tools like gen_bridge_metadata

    Texture alloc bug: Fixes it correctly.

    The problem is that non-word aligned textures follow the
    "slow path", and iOS 5 allocs more memory for them.
    When the textures are word aligned, then the "fast path" is followed,
    and no additional memory is alloced
