Wouldn't it be awesome if we kept a history of the Hall of Fame? That would allow us to show how much users have rose and what they're average Hall of Fame position is, for example.

If we create a new model -- let's call it Leaderboard for now -- and throw the whole Hall of Fame in there every time a contest closes, we'll have some history after a while. Also, the Hall of Fame would probably speed up, since it doesn't have to fetch a bunch of users and do calculations, everything is cached in the Leaderboard object.

What do you think? :)

I like the idea, also having some place where coders can exploit their egos is a great invitation system :)

I started working on this in feature/rankings. A slight change; users embed Ranking objects, which will hold timestamped Leaderboard caches. :)
