I often write draft content on my work lunch-break or on my phone on the commute.
I was using postie, but switched to the default settings. my email is not the same as my admin account email.
I sent an email to my website the other day expecting the post to be pending so i could finish it when i got home but the wp-to-twitter plugin picked up the post although it was pending, and tweeted a link - the content of the post (my email) contained my signature from work and as it came from my phone and included my phone signature too, which included my mobile number.
This is obviously an issue with wp-to-twitter plugin, but it would be super handy to be able to set all emails received to be sent to draft, so this wouldn't happen, I expect there are similar use cases where emailing is just a quick way to build up draft posts of ideas etc.
Thanks, this is a good idea! I've added it to the list for the next version.
There's a dropdown option in there now for non-registered emails but it would be great if registered users could drop in as just drafts.
Adding an option to choose the action when receiving a message from a…
… registered email. Re codebykat/wp-post-by-email#9
