One sentence description:
People getting evicted should have a simple, easy-to-understand form that helps them determine if they have legal recourse to fight their eviction.

Brain dump:

  • The landscape: Google "california is my eviction legal" and you get a lot of pages like this:
    eviction-screenshot
  • Possible MVP: Mine some existing resources (i.e intake forms for eviction defense laywers) to determine the first signs of an illegal eviction, and direct users to legal resources that can help. them.
  • Gee whiz idea: What if the form generated a template brief/motion users could give to their lawyer as the first step in fighting their eviction?
