A high level overview of your breakout group. What problem are you trying to solve? Make this simple and jargon-free. Links are good too!
We connect people, resources and knowledge while also offering the emotional support needed surrounding this critical choice. It's time we rally together as Mama Bears to protect and support women that are facing this choice.
Group leaders
Names and contact info for the people running this group.
Describe the kinds of people who would be good for your group. Include the skills, domain knowledge and interests that will help make your project succeed.
If you are a person (of any gender identity) that wants to support this right to choose, we hope you get involved. We're stronger together - you don't need to be a cis-gender woman to be a Mama Bear.
Mama Bear is baseline functional right now (private forum with a membership portal). Our goal is to begin building out more dynamic, customized aspects to the platform that will enhance trust, usability, searchability and customization. We also plan to build out and incorporate a peer-to-peer social investment piece into Mama Bear, to help put resources into the hands of people that need it most.
We need lots of different kinds of people to make Mama Bear possible, including UX and AI/ML people, blockchain enthusiasts, coders and developers of all kinds, community builders, mental health advocates, content creators, people managers, researchers, operations, partnership folks...there is room for everyone at Mama Bear.
Tools
Describe the tools that you are using.
Currently, Mama Bear is set up as a private forum with a membership portal. I'd like to build out customized apps/tools, and integrate existing tools that help make Mama Bear a thriving ecosystem. We use Wix as our provider.
