Unresposive App when trying to type to input field

Description:
The app becomes unresponsive when attempting to type using the virtual keyboard. The input field appears to have focus, and the cursor is visible and blinking, but text entry does not work as expected.

Device/OS:
iPhone 14 Plus, iOS 26.4.2

Expected Result:
The user should be able to enter text into the focused input field using the virtual keyboard.

Actual Result:
The input field shows focus with a blinking cursor, but the app does not respond when typing with the virtual keyboard.

I will need more than this to debug this properly. Is this something you can reproduce consistently? Did this start now? Is this happening for every app/field or are you doing something specific?

This simple code reproduces the behavior on iphone

@Ngosti2000 I tried this repro on a physical device just now and I can't reproduce it. I will need more details:

• Specific OS version
• Does this happen immediately?
• Is the app still responsive afterwards, do other components e.g. buttons work?

Frequency
The issues happens immidaitely i start typing. Once the field gets focus and the virtual keyboard pops, i can type the first or sometime 2nd character and then hangs as per the videos shared.
The app is not longer responsive after that and would have to restart it again.
The button works as expected. as long as i haven't started typing. Once i do, app freezes and everything else becomes unresponsive. Please not this only started after 7.0.244, previous versions did not affect this.
