ZamundaRIP v2.0.0 — Now a real desktop app

ZamundaRIP rewritten from the ground up as a native cross-platform app: Windows, macOS (Apple Silicon), Linux. The original Python self-hosted version is preserved on the legacy branch.

What you get

  • Native desktop app — Electron + React + Vite, dark mode by default
  • Works offline — the entire SQLite archive (~450 000 torrents) ships bundled inside the installer (~76 MB compressed). Search, filters, magnets — all instant, all local.
  • Daily incremental sync — only newly-revived torrents are pulled down (KB-sized), no full re-download
  • Auto-updates — checks GitHub Releases on startup, in-app install
  • Magnet → clipboard fallback — if no torrent client is registered as default handler, the magnet link is copied so you can paste it into your client / SaaS / wherever
  • Ghost revival deep-linking — the "Help revive" button on each ghost opens zamunda.rip with that exact torrent pre-loaded
  • Sidebar links to all sibling projects (МръсенТоп.SHOP, Bayflix.TO/MOV/SB/MS, Discord, IRC)

  • Linux: .AppImage, .deb (Debian/Ubuntu), .pacman (Arch)

Intel Mac support is planned for v2.0.1.
