Unable to approve education request

Hi everyone,

I am a high school student hoping to get the Student Developer Pack.

However, every time I apply for the Student Developer Pack, I keep getting unable to verify your academic affiliation along with a bunch of reasons.

Unfortunately, my school does not provide an ID or a school email.

And here are the reasons I've received as to why I'm denied.

1. Complete your [GitHub billing information] with your full legal name exactly as in your academic document (enter in both first and last name fields if you have only one name). No payment method is required. Log out and back in before reapplying. ( I've done this and reapplied; No luck)

2. If your selected school has no campus in your country, your document must state virtual learning if you are remote. If school info is incorrect (e.g., email domain, campus location), choose “My selected school has incorrect or incomplete information…” when submitting a support ticket. ( My email might be considered wrong because its not a school email? However, I did provide the correct location of my school)

3. Your document must show your complete school name, not just the logo. Multiple documents may be combined. ( I can't upload any documents for some but when I submitted my first few attempts I always used my transcripts which were in English which also contained my full name as well as my schools name and logo)

4. Your document must include a date proving current academic affiliation; if using a non-standard calendar, include a converted date. Multiple documents may be combined if legible. ( Included in the document)

5. Update your [GitHub user profile] with your full legal name exactly as in your academic document (no nicknames or variations). Log out and back in before reapplying. ( I've done this and reapplied; No luck)

I'd greatly appreciate any help or additional methods to try and get the Student Developer Pack.

What You Should Try Next

Create a Combined PDF

If multiple documents are needed (e.g., transcript + enrollment letter), merge them into one PDF that shows:

• Your full legal name
• Full school name
• Date of current enrollment
• School logo or official header

Ask School for an Enrollment Verification Letter

Even without an ID card or school email, schools can issue an official letter on school letterhead with:

• Full name
• School name
• Current enrollment dates
• Signature/stamp from school official

Match Your GitHub Profile Exactly

Update your GitHub billing info and profile name to exactly match the document. Then log out, log in, and reapply.

Include Translation if Needed

If your document is not in English, attach a translated version with both original and translation in the same file.

Contact GitHub Support Before Reapplying

If your school’s info is missing or wrong in GitHub’s database, submit a support ticket explaining and attaching proof.

I would recommend you try applying again using the original evidence (certification?). Is this school you are applying with an online school or you close to campus?

Hi! Thank you for the reply! My school is in-person. As for my school certificates, I can't submit them anymore. The only option is for me to take a photo of myself for some reason.
