Because OCD, that's why.

Personally, I find it a lot easier to spot things in a list when the list is sorted alphabetically.

Of course, if this were to be merged, I'd always do

$ composer require --sort-packages vendor/package

In other words, this should be the default! :trollface:

I'm ok merging this but I will suggest you use alias req='composer require --sort' :)
