Currently running vendor/bin/satis from main library root dir results in:

You must set up the project dependencies, run the following commands:
wget http://getcomposer.org/composer.phar
php composer.phar install

In order to fix this we could reuse composer/composer@438cea6

@stof

satis is meant to dump a packages.json file from a composer.json file defining the packages to include. Do you really have a use case for including it as a deps in another project ?

@ghost

@stof Yes, composer/satis is a dependency of small repo which contains packages.json + configuration of private repos for composer, and several other files like .htaccess, robots.txt, etc.

All of this is under version control so there is no need for me to NOT use composer when satis is needed. Composer is a right choice.
