Changelog: Feature: New general.parallel_download=<num threads> configuration, for parallel installation of binaries, to speed up populating packages in a cache.
Docs: conan-io/docs#1583

Close #245

This as 0 risk, if not used, the code will run exactly the same.
If used, the output will be mangled, this is to be fixed. I wouldn't mind to release this as experimental and let the users try it to help us test it in more realistic scenarios, it is clear that no matter what we do, the test suite can hardly test this for real.

I think this is a great feature.
Could we consider adding parallelism to conan download as well?
I made a PR to your branch and testing the code: memsharded#28
downloading all the configurations for zlib/1.2.8 from conan-center goes from almost two minutes to 20 seconds.
