I am struggling to enable GPU support within worker containers.

When using Docker Compose it is possible to map Nvidia driver to be used within container:

    volumes:
    - nvidia_driver_375.66:/usr/local/nvidia:ro

But Concourse is missing any feature of mapping something from host

I also tried to provide runtime plugin to the worker, but it looks like this feature is not implemented:

--garden-runtime-plugin=nvidia-container-runtime

or

--garden-runtime-plugin=/usr/bin/nvidia-container-runtime

Feature Request

What challenge are you facing?

Unable to run Nvidia enabled containers

A Modest Proposal

Allow mapping essential host resources

Bug Report

  • Concourse version: 3.14.1
  • Deployment type (BOSH/Docker/binary): binary
  • Infrastructure/IaaS: Bare metal
