On FF background image is still selectable (despite of -moz-user-select: none) and text selection may result "slippery". On chrome dragging prevention is not reliable on some cases.
I may suggest to migrate img to a div with background-image property set.
Do you see any problems with it?

Thanks for reporting.

#62 was about the text selection issue.

In earlier versions, images were actually placed with background-image. And I switched it to the img tag for an easier printing. On fx or chrome users have to tweak the setting to print background images, and the one in fx was not easy to find. Also I had to use js to disable dragging in the same way as in the current version.

Suppose that text and image are not overlaid, #213 could be a cure.

pointer-events: none can disable dragging img (also disable "copy image" in context menu), and user-select: none can disable selection. If there are no known bad side-effect, I'll create a PR.
