Can the pdf2htmlEX provide support for an annotated PDF ? for example the one in pdf.js of mozilla supports annotations.
check the example below in pdf.js viewer and it supports annotations. Can this be incorporated into pdf2htmlex ?
Yes, it has been considered, but not well motivated.
It has low priority and will be implemented in the future.
oops, didn't want to close it, wrong button clicked..
+1 for annotation, probably not a high priority but makes complete sense to add this in pdf2htmlEX. Probably, it'll need some designs to keep them in page.
@deathlord87 I think easiest work around for you to have separate backend for annotations and you draw annotations from your backend via svg on top of html. You can also export them into PDF.
I managed to create annotations on pdf using ghostscript also there's libharu framework based on c-lang, which helps in annotating but somehow the rendering the pdf is messing it all up.
Looking for a way or method which will help annotating.
I think you can re-use the annotation that is followed in the pdf.js, they have a annotation support for basic annotations like stiky.
@deathlord87 pdf.js is not licensed with GPL, so I don't think I can use their icons.
+1 for annotations
i can design icon assets if thats only road block for annotations feature
@prasad-1210 I found https://github.com/Templarian/WindowsIcons while looking for icons for UI. I've planned to support annotation after an overhaul of the text model.
