Note that CopperheadOS already has a feature for preventing new USB peripherals from being detected while the screen is locked (default) or at all. This would be aimed at a different attack vector, where the user is plugging in the device themselves.

This would be useful for cases where a user insert a device and it ends up being a different kind of device (or multiple devices) than what they expected. For example, an evil flash drive that really acts as a keyboard and monitor too.
