Looking at the open issues in this project and based in my own experience it's clear that copycopter server has some kind of problem that degrades performance to almost unusable levels as the number of translations stored grows.

At this point, given the lack of response from the developers in this performance issues, I think it's become mandatory to put some kind of warning in the project README file so people can know what they're buying in when they start depending on this for their production apps.

For us, this has become a mayor source of headaches and in fact we're in the process of moving all our apps to a different system (we're still deciding on it). If you're also suffering from this kind of problems, please attach your comment to this issue so we get some attention from the developers and, maybe, help some fellow developers avoid falling into this deathtrap.

It's true, I've experimenting all of this, should be some warning.

I have a workaround that works fine, but with some disadvantages https://gist.github.com/p1nox/4755262

It should be abandoned, as mentioned in issue #84
