Installing the Ask WordPress Plugin
Ask integrates seamless with WordPress.
First, you have to install Ask on a server, so that the admin and user data can be stored. For install information see https://docs.coralproject.net/products/ask/, and email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
When you have Ask installed, follow these instructions:
- Download the ask-wp-plugin as a zip file by clicking 'Clone or Download' in the top right on this page, then 'Download Zip'
Install and activate the plugin on your WordPress site. Go here to learn how to do that.
Click the 'Ask Forms' button on your WordPress menu.
Create a form within Ask (instructions here) then click Publish Options
Copy and paste the start of the standalone URL before the long form ID number, and paste it into the Server Base URL
- If you'd like to use Ask entirely inside WordPress, paste the URL of your Ask install into the Admin Base URL field (not required)
This will create a second menu item in your WordPress Ask Forms Menu.
Now you have Ask installed successfully in WordPress!
