Bug

Container Linux Version

1353.7.0

Environment

All

Expected Behavior

Container Linux by CoreOS stable (1353.7.0)
core@ip-10-0-36-204 ~ $ systemctl status update-engine

Actual Behavior

Container Linux by CoreOS stable (1353.7.0)
Update Strategy: No Reboots
core@ip-10-0-36-204 ~ $ systemctl status update-engine

Reproduction Steps

  1. Install tectonic
  2. SSH into a machine in the cluster

The motdgen code needs to be updated to adapt to the CLUO.

Bump on this, this is high priority and extremely confusing.

+1 on this, it's extremely annoying to be told "no reboots" only to see the nodes reboot.

Sorry for the close/reopen noise, accidentally did a "fix" github comment there.

The OS side of the changes to fix this will be included in the next alpha release. Additional CLUO/tectonic changes are still needed.

Status update: the CLUO side changes have still not been made.

That issue is tracked over here.

This sorta fell off everyone's radar. I don't know why.
