Issue Report

Feature Request

Container Linux currently appears to require IPv4 connectivity to be able to update itself.

There is currently no AAAA record for the public.update.core-os.net hostname.

IPv4:

$ dig public.update.core-os.net a +short
prod-v1472-ingress.us-west-1.aws.coreos.net.
54.183.42.107
13.56.69.107

IPv6:

$ dig public.update.core-os.net aaaa +short
prod-v1472-ingress.us-west-1.aws.coreos.net.

Do the update services running on this hostname potentially support IPv6? Is this something that might be considered? Thank you.
