Hi cosmiclattes. Didn't want to sign in with Disqus/Facebook, so leaving my comment here. I like the visualization a lot. I agree with the design feedback captured in the preceding issues--I think that these improvements would be useful and effective (the progress indicator in particular). One other simple change I would make would be to make the article look more like a wiki page, and less like the other parts of the web application page that surround it. One easy way to do that would be to give the article a white background, to visually distinguish it from the interface chome above, and the comment board below. You could even get more elaborate and put a 'fake' Mediawiki frame around it (like, adding in the left-hand navigation). But the white background is a good start.
