In order to use the CSV parser in different contexts, the functions of the csv-to-json converter shall be refactored as a standalone library.

  • The new standalone library shall be kept in its own separate Git repository and imported into the csv-to-json project as a Git submodule.
  • The library shall be usable within the browser or in an environment such as node.js. It shall register itself as an AMD module if an AMD loader is present.
  • The library shall be linted and unit tested.
  • The library shall provide a gruntfile for build automation.
