How to install the bass library on linux?

  1. take note of your cpu bits (32 or 64)

  2. find the location of the bass library (see 'dependency/lbass' folder)

  3. choose the 32 or the 64 bit version

  4. to copy the bass library to the local system you can type in terminal:

cd 'bass lib location'

sudo cp libbass.so /usr/local/lib

  1. gives permissions to the library

sudo chmod a+rx /usr/local/lib/libbass.so

  1. configuration

sudo ldconfig

  1. Done!
