It would be useful if we could create an transparent placeholder image with specific proportions.

It could be used in a situation when image required in some part of page was not uploaded, but the image still is needed for the layout to look good.

Basically same thing as Imager plugin craft.imager.placeholder({ width: width, height: height})

Right now of course we can upload transparent pixel and set it to specific dimensions using transform, but implementing such functionality would not even require uploading any placeholder files.
