Hi @lmjwebdesign,

looks like a jquery conflict.

My first ideas:

  • Can you disable all plugins to see if it is a jQuery issue?
  • do you use a child theme, or just CC?
  • is your wordpress installed in a subdirectory?

Please let me know, so we can try to reproduce (i didn't have this error when testing..)

Hi @konradsroka,

  • i have deactivate all the plugins, but theme setting page isn't working correctly
  • i just use CC
  • and wordpress is not installed in a subdirectory

@lmjwebdesign, i cannot replicate no matter how i try.. do you have a link to your installation or is it local?

Do you use latest WP version 3.5.1?

BuddyPress or MU install?

Link would be best if the installation is online..

I have a Theme Settings page issue on one of my sites as well, but since it is a test site I hadn't gotten around to reporting it. Mine won't work, only gives me the option to "Get the Pro". All other tabs just aren't there. This is what it looks like when I go to Theme Settings:

theme-settings-broke

I've disabled all plugins on that site, I don't use a child theme on it, it is in a subdirectory with the url pointing to the WP root. There is custom css, but I can't access it in Theme Settings to delete and test.

Apologies if I should've started a separate thread, I wasn't sure if I should or not ;)

Are you logged in as an admin? I mean not the username (I see it on screensho), but the role.
Do you have any Roles management plugins? Some of them requires flushing roles before deactivation. If not flusshig they will work even after deactivation.

Wow, now i can reproduce - even as admin! and just in the free version..

@slaFFik can you take a look again why this happens in the free but not the pro? maybe there is the answer..

@HaloDiehards, @lmjwebdesign, thanks for your reporting and contribution!

I just installed the new free version yesterday and I too have this problem. My settings page isn't t showing. What is the fix? I'm using the free version.

Not using a Child theme. I upgraded from CC 1.9.1. Not sure why the upgrade is a lower number but that's what was suggested to upgrade to.

Www.hionhifi.com is my website. It's down right now because of this issue.

@hionhifi - strange, i cannot replicate..

please let us know some details on you installation, like WP version, MU or not, wordpress installed in a subfolder maybe, if you are logged in as an admin, etc.

@slaFFik other users reported this also, must be some trouble hidden here..

I have this problem as well exactly the same for the Free version, I am signed in as the admin, I have the latest version of WP 3.5.1 and my WP is installed in the main site directory. I lost the theme settings when I updated to Custom Community 1.13 a few days ago. My slide show also shows as empty when I chose the pages option, although there is now supposed to be a fix for that, I am not sure how to apply the fix though and have asked for advise on that.

@BrianRS1

Update here

please download latest version here @ Github: https://github.com/Themekraft/Custom-Community

** Under the top menu there is a button "ZIP" with a cloud, that's the download button.
** Direct download link: https://github.com/Themekraft/Custom-Community/archive/master.zip

The slideshow for pages bug is fixed in here, please download, update, test ... and let me know!

Update Problems?

"I lost the theme settings when I updated to Custom Community 1.13 a few days ago."
Shit! -> I don't know how you did that.

-> Anyone else experiencing this issue?

The Theme Settings bug will be analyzed and fixed next.

@konradsroka I downloaded and installed the fix using your instructions and the slideshow is now working OK. Just had to fiddle with the menu options to get that back as it was, but no biggie.

My theme settings page is still not working however, but at least that is behind the scenes. I will take a look at #131 now to see what the latest is.

Thanks by the way, good job.
