Hey, this isn't an issue, it's a request.

I wanted to ask @soywiz if I could get rights on this repository so I can contribute in the development of this seemingly great emulator. I don't really care for piracy, my main focus would be to get all homebrew to work on it, and ideally be able to use this emulator as a debugger for Eclipse or whatever IDE you prefer...

I don't know if Soywiz is available, but I'm sure he won't mind me giving you access to the private repository on bitbucket. Just reply here with your bitbucket username and I'll fix you up with push privileges, I'll let him decide if you get admin.

I mentioned to him via email about including you in on the fun and he seemed keen. So. Have fun!

Uh oh!
This repository is in read-only mode because soywiz is over its plan limit. Please contact the account owner.

Sorry, but I'll have to remove your write access.

I just readed this issue. That's great!
I think that if we are going to be more, we could use github directly. I preferred bitbucket because that way there was a bit less pressure on the development being private, and we could push commits in batch.

But if you want to help, we can use github! and we can even change the name of the emulator instead of "soywiz's psp emulator" into one more generic.

I have already added you as collaborator. Now I'm going to push all the pending changes from my computer and bitbucket and probably shutdown the bitbucket project.

I propose PSP#, sharpPSP or PSP.NET! Pretty standard c#/.net project names :P Or just go with CSPSPEMU.

I'm also keen on giving the github windows client a spin too, never had a chance to try it out, and now I do!

If you plan to integrate it into eclipse (I don't know the protocol eclipse uses) maybe you can start with this:
https://github.com/soywiz/cspspemu/tree/master/CSPspEmu.Debugger

This is a port I started about the GDB protocol I made as a test in my previous emulator.

Ok. I have pushed all the pending changes to github. So you can start pushing already :)

To archanox:

I like all the names your proposed. So I don't care which one to use :P

I'm using TortoiseGit and I'm pretty happy with it. I gave a try to github's windows client and seemed to be fine but not used it too much so I don't know if it is easier to use.

@soywiz Cool, Eclipse uses GDB to debug the PSP (via pspLink or PspLinkUSB or PspLinkWifi), but I've never succesfully made debugging work with PSPSDK... I'll probably get on that this weekend, if I can get some of my homebrew to work (most are in 3D and don't work, but my DebugScreen programs work fine)

About the name: still not sure. I like all these. It should be easy to find when searching and not being confused with other product.

And about the debug. Good luck! Running more 3d stuff would be great :) I'm not sure what the problem is. But it seems to have several problem with 3d. It doesn't displays some geometry or displays wrong geometry in some games.

I'll check that out. I also have my 2 PSP's to compare the output ( 1_PSP-1001 (4.01-m33 + Kernel Addon) and 1_PSP-2001 (6.60-PRO-B10) (I just noticed that PRO-C has been released... maybe I should update...) ).

Unfortunately, I'm at work, so I can't start working on the project until I get home (in around 3 hours), so first thing I'll do is get a latest version of the GIT here, and make the Cube sample work :D

@soywiz About the name:
I think the name is fine. I pitched a name for fun's sake and thought P#P was cleaver. I have no problem leaving it as-is.
