We need to

  • start from automatically searching for tools and libs in common locations (e.g. /usr/bin and /usr/lib) before prompting;
  • possibly detect version
  • remove numeric version and do proper version comparison (split points)

I did a major update of CK env/soft/package manager, automated detection of software and provided user friendly names. I close this ticket. See related ticket here: #3
