.ruby-version is the current way with rvm, so it seems fine to rename the old .rvmrc to .ruby-version AFAIK.

I have added .ruby-version as this is the standard way of choosing ruby version.

@ngpestelos : You can configure your local git repo to ignore .rvmrc if you use RVM to handle gem sets.
