Summary
Both
curl_easy_recv()andcurl_easy_send()previously validated!nbut did not validate whetherbufferis NULL when a non-zerobuflenis passed. Calling either function withbuflen > 0andbuffer == NULLpassed the pointer directly down to network socket or TLS library read/write routines, which can lead to crashes or undefined behavior.This patch adds
(buflen && !buffer)validation to bothcurl_easy_recv()andcurl_easy_send():CURLE_BAD_FUNCTION_ARGUMENTifbufferis NULL whilebuflen > 0.curl_ws_send()andcurl_ws_recv().tests/libtest/lib556.c.
