Just received this email from a nice guy in Cuba. Making a ticket here to track it. Anybody have any ideas on this?

Just found out openexchangerates.org, a very cool project as I can see. Besides, I consider it a nice alternative to xe.com (the one I was using).

Well, in Cuba there are two currencies, CUP (Cuban Peso) and CUC (Cuban Convertible Peso). The first is sort of a toy, the second is the one you can exchange by international currencies (EUR, USD, etc).

Banco Metropolitano sets the rate, you can see then here http://www.bc.gov.cu/Espanol/tipo_cambio_METROPOLITANO.asp and get in a more parseable format from http://www.bc.gov.cu/anteriores/TipoCambioMETRO/2012/

CUP - CUC exchanged is fixed to 1 CUC = 24 CUP when you sell the CUC, and 1 CUC = 25 CUP when you buy the CUC.

For the openexchangerates.org matters, I think CUP is not useful at all (not interchageable by international currencies in Cuba) and CUC should be added.
