I've added a small but usefull note to the readme when using the gem with non-resourcefull gems.

The usage is obvious to experienced rails users, but might confuse some less experienced people.

Reading this would really help! I spent 30 minutes before finding out that I had to add the before_filter to my non-restful actions.
