What versions of WordPress and Geo Mashup are you using?
WP 2.7.1, GeoMashUp 1.2.5

I am using Tabbed Category Index and Visible Posts List on my sidebar.
If I have several posts with the same address and those posts are from
different categories, ALL the posts in the list have the marker of LAST
published post at this address.

In my example one of posts (latest) should have orange marker icon (shows
correctly) and other should have red marker icon, but it have orange as well.
You can see it here:
http://sportakarte.lv/?center_lat=56.9622498&center_lng=24.2385693&open_post_id=
650
(Zoom in to see only corresponding markers on the sidebar)

I think I see: the "plus" icon is correct when all posts are showing, since
there are
two posts at that location. But when the orange tab is selected, the marker
should
turn orange and show only one post. Likewise with the red tab. Sound right?

If so, I agree it should behave that way, but it may not be easy to accomplish.

Your suggestion sounds very interesting.

But I meant a different thing.
I am talking about icon on the sidebar, not on map. One of the posts is
assigned to
orange category, another one to red, but they both have the orange icon beside
name
on sidebar (Visible Posts List).
!And if I will add some new post to the same address but in another category,
say
green, then ALL three post icons will turn into green, which is incorrect.!
Icon beside post name in Visible Posts List should represent corresponding
category,
so from the icon color I can tell which category it represents.

Thank you, that makes it clear. With any luck that will be easier to fix than my
prior suggestion.

Ok, I've tried a fix. I think you can test it by just replacing the
geo-mashup.js
file with
http://wordpress-geo-mashup.googlecode.com/svn/branches/1.2/geo-mashup/geo-mashu
p.js.
