I asked in Reddit (Link):

"I just moved some images from internal storage to external storage. I opened gallery to see the images, but it seems they didn't move. So I removed gallery cache (and checked that the files were actually moved) and then the gallery show me blank images in the old directory and in the new folder I moved the images, they didn't show up. With other file managers that haven't happened. Can someone fix this?

Update: After reboot, the images show up correctly. But if I move them again, the problem comes back

I'm using rooted Samsung Galaxy S4 mini with CyanogenMod rom (Android 6.0.1) I have bought the premium version of SD Maid"

And mDarken answered:

"It's possible that other file managers detect that the moved files are part of a gallery and update the references within the system's media database."
