Pin::Customer.create_card(customer_token, card)

You can also use a card token rather than a card hash

customer_token = 'customer_token'
card_token = 'card_token'
Pin::Customer.create_card(customer_token, card_token)
Delete a card given a customer and a token

This method will raise an exception if attempting to remove the user's primary card

card_token = 'card_token'
Pin::Customer.delete_card(customer_token, card_token)

Cards

Pin::Card.create(card_details)

Will return a card_token that can be stored against a customer.

Only use this method if you're comfortable sending card details to your server - otherwise you can use a form that Pin provides (https://pin.net.au/docs/guides/payment-forms) and get the card_token that way.

Receipts

Receipts have been extracted out into their own gem

Testing localy

Create a YAML file under 'spec' called 'test_data.yml' and add in:

PIN_SECRET: "your pin test secret"

uncomment line 13 in spec_helper.rb and

run

rspec spec/*.rb

To do

  • Validate a response before it gets sent to Pin (eg. Update customer)

Contributing to pin_up

  • Check out the latest master to make sure the feature hasn't been implemented or the bug hasn't been fixed yet.
  • Check out the issue tracker to make sure someone already hasn't requested it and/or contributed it.
  • Fork the project.
  • Start a feature/bugfix branch.
  • Commit and push until you are happy with your contribution.
  • Make sure to add tests for it. This is important so I don't break it in a future version unintentionally.
  • Please try not to mess with the Rakefile, version, or history. If you want to have your own version, or is otherwise necessary, that is fine, but please isolate to its own commit so I can cherry-pick around it.
