I've used quite a few languages but Ruby is the one I have enjoyed more than any other
Ruby was designed to be enjoyable to use, this was done by applying the principals of good UI design to a programming language.
It focuses on features which are useful for creating elegant solutions
Ruby also attempts to never require syntax for the sake of syntax, if something can be inferred by context, then it should not be required.
The cannonical hello world example doesn't require parenthesis, despite the fact it is a method call, since it is clear to the interpreter
that a parameter is being passed to a method.
