I've done the necessary re-arranging to get qtfaststart packaged and published to PyPi. Here are the structural changes:

  • Created a qtfaststart package
  • Broke qtfaststart.py into a bin/qtfaststart script, and qtfaststart.exceptions, qtfaststart.processor. distutils requires the bin scripts to be separate from the package. This will also make it easier for people to read through qtfaststart.processor and use it directly, since the file has lost some considerable weight.
  • Created LICENSE.txt file with a copy of the GPLv3 in it.
  • Created setup.py.
  • Updated README

This has also been published to PyPi.
