Multicast packet not being sent:

I want to thank you for creating such a great tool and I really appreciate your hard work. I’ve been using this tool to test an embedded an application that is using TCP, UDP and Multicast server sockets and so far it’s been working great on both TCP and UDP. I’m having some issues with the Multicast support in version 6.0.19 and I’m still trying to debug the issues I’m seeing. It could possibly be a windows issue?
I’ve configured a packet with the IP address of 235.168.11.100 using port number 9760 and I’m trying to send it as UDP. On the initial send, I get prompted to join a group. I reply with NO and status window shows that the frame had been sent. When I look at it with wireshark and my smartbits, it hasn’t sent. On subsequent sends, I don’t get the prompt to join and the status window reports that the frame was sent but nothing appears in both wireshark or smartbits.
Another feature that would be very useful for this is to have the ability to configure the destination multicast address(01:00:5e:xx:xx:xx), because I can find this very useful to test IGMP snooping enabled layer 2 switches.

Unless you turned it off (in settings), Packet Sender automatically checks and should alert you when a new release is available for download.
