I've been using the editor for a reasonable amount of time now and I find I really can't get used to the automatic insertion of closing quotes and brackets. My best mental model is that it might be useful if you were linearly typing code from the beginning to the end, but when editing in the middle it's just frustrating, particularly since attempting to delete the closing quote often ends up deleting both of them. Can we make this an option that can be turned off?
