OUR MISSION

Wisercoin aims the protection of accounting transaction and customer privacy of companies that are giving data center services.For instance, while you are shopping in local currency, you need to prefer a credit card or Money order. The company that you want to take hosting, domain, cloud server services asks you to confirm your credit card information more over; they propose to register your information to their system.

Wisercoin is used right there.

It offers customer privacy and payment security while you are getting services like hosting, Domain, Cloud Server etc.Wisercoin transactions using Scrypt algorithm are approved by miners in a fast way. The time between blocks has been calculated as 5 minutes.

Blockchain

The Wisercoin blockchain is capable of handling higher transaction volume than its counterpart - Bitcoin. Due to more frequent block generation, the network supports more transactions without a need to modify the software in the future. As a result, merchants get faster confirmation times, while still having ability to wait for more confirmations when selling bigger ticket items.

Wallet Encryption

Wisercoin Wallet encryption allows you to secure your wallet, so that you can view transactions and your account balance, but are required to enter your password before spending wisercoins. This provides protection from wallet-stealing viruses and trojans as well as a sanity check before sending payments.

Mining Reward

Miners are currently awarded with 50 new Wisercoin per block, an amount which gets halved roughly every 210.000 blocks. The Wisercoin network is therefore scheduled to produce 22 million WSC

Development process

Developers work in their own trees, then submit pull requests when they think their feature or bug fix is ready.

If it is a simple/trivial/non-controversial change, then one of the WiserCoin development team members simply pulls it.

If it is a more complicated or potentially controversial change, then the patch submitter will be asked to start a discussion with the devs and community.

The patch will be accepted if there is broad consensus that it is a good thing. Developers should expect to rework and resubmit patches if the code doesn't match the project's coding conventions (see doc/coding.txt) or are controversial.

The master branch is regularly built and tested, but is not guaranteed to be completely stable. Tags are created regularly to indicate new official, stable release versions of WiserCoin.

Testing

Testing and code review is the bottleneck for development; we get more pull requests than we can review and test. Please be patient and help out, and remember this is a security-critical project where any mistake might cost people lots of money.

Automated Testing

Developers are strongly encouraged to write unit tests for new code, and to submit new unit tests for old code.

Unit tests for the core code are in src/test/. To compile and run them:
