Sometimes sensitive data may be accidentally logged; to rectify this deletion of one or more events may be desired.

The way this will work:

  • First, the user must visit the Retention Policies screen
  • This will present a link "delete events interactively"
  • The link will return the user to the Events screen, where a new Delete button is visible
  • After selecting and deleting events a Done button again removes the deletion options

This will be achieved by providing a "Delete" option in the events view - everything matching the set filter/range will be deleted.
