The pypi package doesn't contain the docs and examples folders, it would be handy to provide them on the next release.
One of your Gentoo Linux packager ;)
I typically don't include tests or examples in packages on PyPI, since I believe most people will be using pip to install the package. I'm open to being convinced otherwise, though.
In the meantime, you can rely on the github tag downloads (e.g. https://github.com/dcrosta/flask-pymongo/tarball/0.1.1), as I am quite rigorous about tagging exactly the version submitted to PyPI. This particular package needs nothing more than setup.py install, so working from the source tarball shouldn't be too much of a hassle.
Thanks for your answer.
The thing is that I'm following the same packaging technique as other Flask extensions such as openid and script and they do include the docs and/or examples folders so I'd rather stick to PyPI instead of being the "only" extension package to point to github.
Thanks in advance for being convinced ;)
be explicit about what to package
