Several commands were failing in my environment. This is just some cleanup that should be safe to run anywhere.

Simply expression for finding current branch
The previous command used a porcelain which probably changed output
formats. This uses name-rev, which should be safer.
Fix current branch parsing with multiple heads
The previous solution did not acount for case where multiple branches
could be pointing at the same commit. git-symbolic-ref gives the correct
branch.

Shouldn't this exit on error? e.g. https://github.com/brantb/git-utils/pull/1

Yes, you're probably right. I don't use git-switch myself, so I hadn't noticed. I just did a blanket replacement of the conditions because they don't work as written in zsh.
