Leacme WebServerPrime is a cross-platform desktop application able to run on Windows, MacOS, and Linux. It is build using Microsoft .NET platform and Avalonia UI framework.
This application features the ability to run a portable web server, allowing web browsers to connect it and view the shared content. If index.html is present in the root directory, the server will display its html, otherwise it will list the files and folders in the shared directory.
The desktop application can be compiled into an executable with .NET 3.1 by navigating to Leacme.App.WebServerPrime folder and running:
dotnet publish --configuration Release -p:CopyOutputSymbolsToPublishDirectory=false -p:PublishSingleFile=true -p:LeacmeOutputType=winexe --runtime win-x64
Note: win-x64 can be replaced with other runtimes such as linux-x64, or osx-x64, for more runtimes see RID Catalog
Enter the local directory that you want to share, as well as the server port that you want the server to run on. Click Start Server and it should display the addresses which you can input into your web browser.
The applicatin library can also be build and used separately by navigating to Leacme.Lib.WebServerPrime folder and running dotnet build. This will create a .dll library that can be copied into the directory where your .csproj is located. Be sure as well to add the following line to your .csproj file to point to the location of the library:
<ItemGroup><Reference Include="Leacme.Lib.WebServerPrime.dll"><HintPath>Leacme.Lib.WebServerPrime.dll</HintPath></Reference></ItemGroup>
It can then be added and used within your project with var library = new Leacme.Lib.WebServerPrime.Library();
